A Dance in Palazzo Litta

GIADA’s Fall Winter 2019 Collection is inspired by the art of dance, through ingenious design, methodically selected fabrics, and excellent craftsmanship.

Dance is similar in the sense that a dancer can achieve an ethereal lightness in movements on stage only through rigorous and dedicated practice.

Art to Art is at the heart of GIADA’s philosophy, with each collection incorporating different artistic concepts. As an artist in the world of dance, Rebecca Bianchi believes that fashion, art and life are inseparable.

“Art is always inspired by life, like in ballet where very often the characters we play are based on real life stories. Art can reach people’s hearts and souls. The beauty of art transforms everything into hope and becomes a universal language, which drives us to become better and to spirituality and the truth.”

Rebecca interprets the female power in much the same way that GIADA does: women possess a kind of soft power. For Rebecca, the soft power means a mix of strength and sensitivity that makes her capable of facing the various challenges in life. As a mother of three, Rebecca abides by her belief that “to grow and educate children often requires patience and tenacity, and also understanding and tenderness”.

Rebecca believes that by living one’s life with love and faith, all difficulties shall be overcome. Through dance she expresses her true self and replenishes her source of energy and imagination. Time with her children injects her with their vitality and ingenuity, a constant inspiration for her to bring into her art. In the world of Rebecca Bianchi, career and family not only complement but also elevate each other.

Palazzo Litta

Palazzo Litta is a Baroque structure in Milan. Its theater, Teatro Litta di Milano, is Milan’s most historic theater. In the mid-seventeenth century, the famous Italian Baroque architect Francesco Richini built the nucleus of the Palazzo for one of the most influential Milanese families of the period. The Palazzo now serves as a cultural center and art exhibition venue.
